History/Background
The Great Lakes Chromosome Conference

The GLCC is 40 years old, almost as old as the field of Human Clinical Cytogenetics itself.

The GLCC has been held in Toronto annually for the past 40 years. It is a perfect opportunity for those involved in the field of Clinical Cytogenetics to meet and network with others, discuss clinical problems, and upcoming technologies in the areas of prenatal, paediatric and cancer cytogenetics.

We invite submissions from Cytogeneticists who have historical tidbits about the early beginnings of this conference. Please contact us with any relevant details that would interest our readers.
